How We Can Help
Our carers provide outstanding care and support for people who are frail and vulnerable, giving them the confidence to remain at home where they can find peace and happiness. We can do everything you require in order to stay at home, from personal care, dressing, preparing fresh, homecooked, healthy meals, reminding you to take your medication, taking you out, visiting healthcare professionals such as your doctor or dentist, trips to visit friends and family, serving tea and biscuits to your visitors at home, shopping etc. But, more than this, you will feel safe at night time knowing there is someone on hand to assist should you call.
Who we Help
Our clients want to continue their lives at home, they may have Dementia or Parkinson’s disease, they may have suffered a stroke and are managing a change in lifestyle through a disability or a progressive disease. Others are elderly and reasonably able, but are becoming increasingly vulnerable and need someone around at all times. Or you may be recovering from an operation and want to recuperate at home.
Choosing Carefour to provide outstanding live-in care will give peace of mind, security and the chance to live their lives where they want to – at home.
We have robust and safe recruitment and training policy meaning that every carer is security checked, vetted, referenced and highly trained. All carers are introduced by a care manager and are mentored and monitored regularly. We offer an open and honest service so that you can call us at any time to ask how things are. We encourage the family to be part of the care plan so that you can feel confident that your loved one is getting what they need. We regularly review our care plans and we are responsive to any changes that are required throughout your care days with us.
In addition, you will have a dedicated Care Manager who will get to know your relative and yourselves – this will be one point of contact for you – nothing is too big or too small for them to discuss with you. They will be able to help and advise on all aspects of the live-in care and you would be surprised at the useful information and techniques that we can bring to your care that will immediately improve the day to day life of your loved one.
Our carers are continually improving themselves with training on up-to-date moving and handling techniques, experts in Dementia care, specialist Parkinson’s training, they are also domestic householders who can cook, wash and iron – giving you the full spectrum of care that meets your needs.
If you are returning home from the hospital and needs more support at the start then perhaps Respite care from Carefour would be helpful. We will be able to assess your needs and find someone suitable who will be able to help get you back on your feet.
If you think that Live-in care or Respite Care is your next step then please call us on 0800 368 8196 and we will give you all the information you need to be able to make an informed decision. We look forward to hearing from you and speaking in due course.
