All the Carefour carers are Dementia Friends. This means they have completed specialised training in Dementia care and will be able to support families caring for a loved one with dementia in their own home.
Living with dementia can be confusing and upsetting, but caring for someone with dementia can be equally bewildering, exhausting and can leave you feeling isolated and low. Carefour can ease this burden by giving practical help, support and advise, respite care when needed and someone to talk to as the disease progresses.
This is a wonderful service delivered by caring and compassionate professional carers who understand the best ways to care and support families struggling to look after their loved ones.
At Carefour we know that your requirements may change over the coming months and years and so we will work closely with you to create a specialised dementia care plan that is flexible and suitable for your current needs. We can also cover all the support you might need to maintaining your quality of life, stepping in when needed but always helping you to remain as independent as possible. Simple things like remembering to take medicine, preparing healthy balanced meals, shopping and attending appointments can become a struggle when dementia progresses and so we are here to help.
